The drop goal vs HKR (that whole day was quality)

This.
And the atmosphere against Salford away.

| The drop goal against Saints isn't just one of the moments of our season for me. Its got to be in the top ten for all time! Maybe not up there with JD scoring in the million pound match or Korki driving in the second half in the playoffs '04......but still up there!

I have to admit it, when the wakey fans were singing over the announcer calling out the Salford team before the game and said "I give up" was lump in the throat stuff, one of the best asmospheres at any game I've been to in the last 20 years with maybe the exception of the last 5 mins in the million pound game

| With most of the obvious ones from this season already covered I'll go for one a little different....
Tim Smith putting pen to paper and extending his contract meaning we will see him in our club colours for at least another season....
Must have been watching us 20-25 years now and in terms of genuine quality he's right up with the very best i've seen play for us.....would be even better if we could get him tied into a longer one half way through next season.....it's players like this we need to hold onto and build a team around if we ever want to step up to the next level of being a regular fixture in the end of season play-offs and further than that in time....

| Seeing BV well filled on a glorious sunny day, will always be an overriding memory, so this year in general has been a good one.
Widnes & Salford away were also great atmospheres too.
Beating (stuffing) Leeds at home will take some beating on the playing front.
The interest created by the roofs and the seven in a row have all added to the lot of the Wakefield fan.
All in all it's a been a season to remember for us all, on a personal note meeting one brave little lad and his courageous family puts it all into perspective.
Enjoy your Rugby, enjoy your family and friends, enjoy life and take nothing for granted!!

| This has been my first season following the wildcats, and it's been thoroughly enjoyable 7 wins on the bounce and getting into the top 8, the drop goal wins and the welcoming atmosphere have all made this season one of my favourites

Welcome to the emotional rollercoaster known as Wakefield Trinity Wildcats RLFC! What a great year to start.
I've been following since the early/mid eithies. I've seen us promoted three times, relegated once, demoted once ( RFL). I've seen us win a Grand Final (Championship, not Super League) plus win and lose a Yorkshire Cup Final. All this along with weekly dramas in person or via the radio/internet. Also seen some class in the likes of Ray Price, Steve Ella, Geoff Bagnall, Nigel Wright, James Leuluai, Michael Jackson. True grit determination to the club in the likes of Nigel Bell and my favourite Billy Conway.
I've seen some quality and dire rugby. Seen some classic tries, most notable one for me (against us) was Jonathan Davies at Belle Vue (for Widnes) running from his own in goal line to cover the full length of the field and score at the (now) Benidorm flats end whilst evading virtually our full 13!
I remember the stench of pipes and cigarettes, seen drunkards evicted, fans rugby tackled by policemen on the pitch, ashes scattered near the posts just prior to kick off. I've seen Jonny Thompson go toe to toe with Benny Elias when the Australian team played at Belle Vue.
I've seen so much and yet so little. I hope you have more highs than I have so far and lesser lows. I look forward to seeing us win at Wembley or being Super League champions during my time as a fan.
In the early days of my watching I heard on the western terrace the phrase "It's just like watching paint dry." Well, for me it has never been like watching paint dry, it has been an emtional journey of joy and despair.

| I remember Michael Jackson. His Auntie Mary lived next door to my grandparents in Heckmondwike. I seem to remember he had a fantastic teak-like tan, almost David Dickinsonesqe

| The best moment for me this year was Full Time at home to Saints. Stood half way down the North Stand. I don’t think I’ve ever seen BV rocking as much, the noise reminded me of been in Kop at Elland Rd before the seats was put it in. One thing for sure, I’m going to miss BV, since Glover tarted the match day experience up the place is awesome!
