| I think it's a good idea tbh. Just as long as he was stood well away from me - but definitely no sad act brass band like the Rhinos have got! I was thinking at the game that if Wakey had such a band, it'd probably stop me going eventually!

| Last time this was called for, I was in favour; having since been subjected at close quarters to the young Wire scrote with his drum and the Leeds effort, it's a resounding no from me.
I do think we could do a bit more atmosphere-wise at the RSS next season; a bit of incidental music and some new improved chants wouldn't go amiss, but not a bleedin' drummer.

| I've only watched the first half of the Leeds game on my Sky box so far and all you can hear all the way through is the Whino band! Either they were too darn loud or Sky chose to just place their microphones in this area. I was at the KC on Sunday too and the sound guys (carrying microphones, not ultra nice people) were running up and down the touchline.
Watching our game it was almost impossible to pick up the sound of our fans, even more so when we scored tries or did something worthy of applause/cheer. Compare that to the atmosphere picked up by Sky the week before at LSV.
Teams have home advantage and this is an opportunity to making a home atmosphere. However at Headingley it seems like the atmosphere was made by about 4 or 5 people out of a reputed 9,000+ attendance.

| Wonder if the Army will let me borrow my old gun ? now how does it go:
Identify Target
Distance to person with drum?
Wind direction?
Settle
Safety off
Breathing
Target eliminated.

To be honest I was quite surprised when I watched the match back, at the game I commented at how quite the South stand was until the game was won for them, yet on the TV they came across really loud, must be that the Sky team are right above the South stand, and as you say our fans were hardly audible, just goes to show what TV can do to distort things.
