Lose both and I cant see us winning another game all season.
I was all for giving RA time but 2 more losses and he must go.
Massive game Saturday but Im not too confident, esp after Cas were smashed by KR last Sun.'"
Agree with this. We [sizeHAVE[/size to win the next two, otherwise it's Agar out for me but unfortunately, I bet Elston doesn't see it like that.

| Following their efforts last weekend and the subsequent rumours of a post-match dressing room bust-up, I can see Cas coming out *too* fired up, resulting in silly penalties from the likes of McGoldrick, Chase, Ferres & Emmitt, all of whom have got that capacity.

| With the reluctance of our halfbacks and hooker to either move forward from dummy half and engage defenders or simply take the line on what about playing Mathers at 6, at least he goes forward.

Don't agree regarding Aiton, but there you go.....
However put Cockayne at 7 and I'll buy the idea - who knows. Coaches don't seem to experiment like that anymore - except at International level where it's compulsory to play every players out of position when playing Australia.
At least Mathers and Cockayne would support the ball player and would give Aiton some options

Do you know I was talking with a bloke today and he suggested Cockayne at 7 and Washbrook at 6 with Kirmond
playing LF. Washbrook covered at 6 quite a bit in is Hull days so I would not be suprised to see that.
People me laugh at that but at laest the defence would be far tighter than it is at the moment.

Bit negative there Jack It won't happen because everything is perfect and to do that would suggest it wasn't.

Did he get a ban for smashing Obst off the ball at the back end of last season?

Cheers - my mistake.
That's bad news for us - I'd have preferred him playing, being a liability and all.

Ben was a half back in his amateur days, I know its a completely different level but I'd love to see him inthe middle of the park probing for gaps, can throw a decent ball out too.

Half back is a good call, but anywhere more infield where he can have more influence is a plus for me. He is too good to be out on the fringe, he gives 100% and adds some spark to the side.
I bet if Rangi had a choice between Ben in the halves or that big girls blouse from Aus, he'd prefer Ben to stay where he is out on the wing.

Are our tactics designed to win a game or to look good losing?
Ben at 7 sounds like a top plan!
