think its also about time some of the rosey eyed ones got them opened up to the reality, ive backed this club to the hilt previously but i see no positives at present.
cheap drinks? a shop in the ridings? a roof over our heads? go to morrisons!
i want to watch my teamplay well and win occasionally, if thats ok, dont care if its at bv or newmarket frankly, as i dont actually believe nm wil save wtrlfc ultimately.
like listening to songs of praise on here sometimes, even god made mistakes, you just never hear about them from those with blinkered faith!

How the hell is his faith any more blinkered than your lack of it. I love this "I respect any ones right to an opinion so long as it's the same as mine" attitude.
FWIW I think Agar was not the best choice for Coach - however not to give him at least a season and a half to prove himself is counterproductive. At least let the dust settle after last year. I don't want continuity for the sake of it but frankly I can't see any Coach getting anything more this season than Agar - apart from the first we have a new Coach game. There is no relegation, so if Agar has a master plan then let him at least have a crack at it.
For me this quick fix sack the Coach mentality has destroyed many a club, it was understandable in the past but now with no P&R it's plain stupid. The Agar team of next season may be just as poor as this, however the line between success and failure at this level is quite small and it could just as easily with a few tweeks be a very good team. That is how the Aussies view it, long term, and that explains why they are the best IMHO.

| How very dare we, praise the club when we feel they deserve, lets just come on here and slag it continuously off instead.
Got to laugh that someones rosey eyed if they don't have the same opinion as theirs about he club, then again that person feels there's nothing to be positive about, each to their own I guess.

Please enlighten us on why Newmarket and progress off the field won't secure our place in super league ? Do you know anything about the franchise requirements ?

Cut him in half and he'll bleed red white and blue, he may come over a bit negative at times but he does know is RL.
That and he's a misery

Whilst I would like to see a lot more from Smith consistently, to say he cannot pass is just garbage imo. His speed and accuracy of passing is better than anyone else in the team by a mile (just wish it was more than occasional glimpses)

newmarket i accept, but please enlighten me why a shop in the ridings is viewed by some as important progress??
or cheap beer?
and what about the playing criterial aspects of a licence application, player development, on field success.
oh and finally please enlighten me as to why losing every weekwill lead to a long term sustainable business model?? i must have missed that lecture!
and not having a go at you or anyone, neither have i called for anyones head, coach or players.

What, you don't think having a shop in the City is important, I do and plenty of others must think something about it because they're using it. That's hugely important to the club, more people spending their hard earned cash that otherwise wouldn't bother if there wasn't one in town.
Yes of course we want wins on the pitch but that doesn't stop the club improving itself in other areas. All these areas of improvement that you are so willing to have dig at, like the cheap beer and the new roofs etc, will obviously give the club more cash to spend on players at both youth & 1st team level, that will move the club on to better things. It's all about having a professionally run club from top to bottom, the hardest part of the puzzle to get right is on field success.

I have supported this club home and away for 37 seasons I class myself has a diehard I never dropped off in the dark days of the 80s or 95-99 we used to fill 2 cars from Barnsley I am now the only one bar the odd game
in answer to your question I struggle to get any enjoyment from watching the first team this season
I am fed up with this club bringing overseas players to this club who offer little or nothing extra we have done it for years I do enjoy the U20 games I do look forward to Newmarket and I do enjoy the fact that this club overall is on the up and is being run better than any time I can remember other than the head coach
At least last season we had a young British team who busted a gut in an impossible situation many on this site had a go at John Kear who for my money he did an outstanding job last season winning 7 games I doubt Mr Agar will return 7 wins this season
In my opinion JKs the best coach we have had in 37 seasons yes the coach who had us top of the league not long ago until the lousy management of the R clan wrecked any chance we had

I have been supporting a bit longer than that. I am also feeling exactly the same I no longer enjoy watching like I used to do. Infact this season I have found it really hard to get any enjoyment from watching the first team. However I still like seeing games on Sky and I have enjoyed some of the U20's games this season, so it can't be RL in general.
Must be an age thing we have, as you get older you get tired of being dished up mediocre crap and listening to all the excuses for it.

| My first match was Trinity v Wigan 1947 All cups on show, so believe you me I have seen more downs than ups, I think the worst time was in the 1950's.But i'am now quite used to these promises od better things to come,It happens at the startof every season but just like the governments of this country They promise eveything & produce nothing. The present management seem to me to be the Best since the days of Mr Stuart Hatfield (RIP)
But as for the head coach Mr Agar as never to me been more than a run of the mill Coach, but he as now got 3 years to prove himself better but he needs to start showing his ability very soon or the crowds will soon be drifting away as always.
This is only the opinion of an eigthy year old fan
Long Live Wakefield Trinity.
