| Good to see the keyboard coaches are out in force again
Wakefield Trinity Scapegoats, it makes me sick at times how our own fans ridicule our staff.

| As i said on the other thread we need to be seeing an improvement in the next 6 weeks or so or things will start getting a little uncomfortable for those in charge.

Not sure about that. We looked to have no creativity at all on Friday night (working today so couldn't go) and it was the same one-man rugby we saw at the end of the Kear era. Where is the spark? Cockayne seemed to have to come inside all the time to get the ball.
The players brought in for the key positions have been a disappointment or probably aren't as good as some hyped them to be. Honestly thought we'd finish about 10th-12th this year and don't see that being any other way.

Kinley if your not in wigan, which i sure hope your not, incinerate some charcoal immediately, Ill go round to the co-op(open thoughout the easter period), for some meat to burn, BigAl or whateve hes calling himself this week can pull open the buns for the hot dog sausages, we can have chicken too, its southern fried, so that should go down well.
in response to popular demand the aga will be thrown out of the kitchen and replace by rome random australian cooking device which is bound to be better, battered fingers all round then????
Bun puller, thats a great job ta.

| Be fair with the guy please, he's only just got there and will need sufficient time to build his team, and get them playing the Agar way. He's had what ? 6 months ??? We had him for 3 years before he got to the point where it definitely was his team and they were playing the Agar way. Come on Trin, show some real loyalty. he cut his teeth on us, he can't mess up again. You've got to believe.......like Auntie Kath.

| Must admit this was bad today. Wigan just took there time, did what they wanted, scored at will with no problem at all. came away very upset.

Some Wakefield are not happy unless they are moaning that's the problem. We've started the season playing well even when losing and not getting hammered. Then we lost to wire on 7th tackle and beat cats and everyone thought the team had clicked, then humiliated at london and lost fairly convincing in the derby. We are going through a bad patch and some of our playing options & selection can be baffling but it far too early to talk about sacking agar. With the squad that was selected and the bad run we are currently in I don't think today's result is that bad.

| Putting things in perspective, many of us have been expecting too much too soon. With SL survival and the signing of bucket loads of players we have got carried away especially with the opening win at Widnes. It's very disappointing to lose most games but Agar needs this season to sort a decent team out, the players that don't fit will eventually be shown the door (personally I think Smith is one of these). Do we seriously expect to be much better than the the likes of Widnes this season ? To be honest it's between us and Widnes and maybe London for the bottom spot.
I'll be going into every game this season now hoping to see plenty of effort but won't expect a win, then if we lose the disappointment won't be as harsh.

Its the style of losing and the lack of a game plan that hurts rather than wins.
Also these are supposed to be better players than last year but I feel that there was more grunt & aggression/passion last year than this! Its concerning that agar has suggested that Collis, Kirmond & Lauititi injured or off form on the edge of defence has had a big impact on the overall performance (grasping straws?). Another 6 games of this will be enough to show him the door but if there is some good rugby and improvements back to the start of the season stuff then fair enough he should have more time.
Something has suddenly gone wrong in the pack, since Catalan and I'm struggling to clearly understand what it is?

| I dont think the squads good enough, and the players in the first squad lack leadership, and a game player. Its a shame when so many things off the field seem to be in the best shape for years. Im not even sure given time things will get that much better.

The prop situation seems to be the main problem, Amor since the broken hand doesn't seem to be the same. The others in the pack just aren't big, nasty and mobile enough. Especially when pushing up from the defensive line.

Well said - couldn't agree more.
