I have been around this game too long to believe that. Do you honestly think that if by a miracle we get anywhere near beating Leeds that will be allowed to happen.'"

In all forms of logic you are 100% correct .

Yet the moment I saw this draw I thought that's the one. There will be a defining game in the clubs history when we finally get back on track and it won't be against Doncaster or Salford. It's a massive task and appears highly unlikely but then it would have to be as you have to beat the best to be the best.

In 2006 we dug deep and won our last few games to get a last ditch chance to survive - now we have our first big chance for the new club to thrive.

My head says no but I just have a feeling on this one. icon_razz.gifRAY:

This is the sort of game you have to win in the later rounds to get through so it's not a big deal to have to play it early doors. I've a feeling there could be 2 very different teams at Wembley this year.

Lets travel en masse, get behind the team, shout them all the way and have a great day out at Shedingley!!
Who knows??? icon_cheers.gif

This is a cup game anything can happen.
They will have 13 players on the pitch we will have 13 players on the pitch and this time i look at it as we dont have to beat them, they have to stop us beating them.

The Irony of Agar getting Leeds is quite hilarious, he never beat them with Hull in all the time he was there. Can he do it with Wakey? I'll be cheering on wakey and hopefully a good result against the dragons can give them some confidence but a tough ask away at the champs.

Very tough game indeed, but we have nothing to loose, if we get fired up and hit them fast and hard why not, the iceing on the cake would be Big Ali getting winning score... icon_biggrin.gifROOL: icon_razz.gifRAY:

It's true that Agar has an appalling record against Leeds, but all things come to an end.

I genuinely think we are in with a shout and could really nick this one in yet another Leeds v Wakey classic, as we've seen in recent years.

I really hope it is televised. I am away that weekend for a wedding so really want to see how the boys do. I missed too many games this season due to factors beyond my control, if I can watch on the telly then I don't feel as bad.

Come on The Trin!

P.S. Correct Briggy, bring on the ££££££!

We did not beat Leeds at BV from 1992 til 2010, so Agars hoodoo with Leeds is nowt.

Is the game money split between wakey/Leeds though? Not sure it is.

We have beaten Leeds and come close many a few times before. It can be done again.

At least, being underdogs, we have nothing to lose.
Has anybody got some red dye we could give them prior to kick off, they didn't play too well "in the pink"

WTW just need to build up some confidence hopefully from wins against Broncos and Castleford prior to the Leeds game. icon_razz.gifRAY:

If that happens who knows? There is always a shock in the Cup and we have a chance as we are a top 8 team k020.gif !

Lets hope Kye's hand is ok & Collis's hamstring sorts itself out asap.

I agree with earlier posts, its an opportunity for a defining moment for this team & with self belief they have the beating of Leeds. This club is going places.

I remember a couple of years ago when we gave them a lesson in Rugby League at BV lets do it again live in front of a 15,000 crowd and on BBC in front of a few million! If we beat Leeds then we can be genuine contenders for the cup! eusa_clap.gif eusa_clap.gif eusa_clap.gif

TBF I think it was a touch tongue in cheek but generally they are.
