Spot on and, despite objections from the public and LCC on both this and the planning application, what this basically says is that the inspector is happy that the Newmarket site was the correct site all along for the B8 industrial development and given that this was the major reason most people and LCC objected, means that this is proving that their objections were unfounded!

| This is good news and could be very significant. I'm as sure as I can be that if the inspector thought another site was preferable then the council would have been told to consider its options. This sounds to me like a vehicle to ensure it can be ratified with the minimum of fuss and keep new objectors to a minimum. There was talk of extra greenbelt being taken out but this would give more scope for opposition so this to me seems the best option. It takes the objectors concerns of traffic on Newmarket lane and loss of 'greenery' legally out of the equation. Whilst its not yet a done deal its a good-sized step in the right direction.

| Its crazy isnt it .
We are all more enthused by positive news re, Newmarket than what is actually happening on the field.
ie finiishing around 11th in the league ,but thumbs up for Newmarket means a brilliant 2012.
But thats the game we are now in and must go along with it before the day comes when the actual game of Rugby League we all argue about and love takes precedence once more.

"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"

| This all sounds like fantastic news ... as I live in Stanley, with a bit of luck, it won't be too long before I'm taking my sandwiches to sit and watch our stadium being built!
You can come along and talk me through it IA

I think you should consider forming a faux environmental group and distributing 10,000 leaflets to local homes... on recycled paper of course... as an environmental group!

Think that got rejected didn't it, but a revised application for conversion got accepted. Might be wrong though.

| Errmm...can't be 100 % sure on that. I only know that I was passing it a few months ago while working and saw some smoke coming from the premises, so went to investigate, and they were stripping the remains of the interior out, and burning them in the rear car park. I asked them what their plans were, and they said they were going to demolish the building and build a big family home.

Not for 14 days a year IMHO looks like it will be a dwelling in any event, the thatched house could capitalise though on match days
