| I can see what he means, I think he meant "random" rather than strange. If you didn't know who Kittrick was, then I can imagine a football manager joining the board of a RL club looking a bit out of the ordinary.
As others have said, always good to get local, wealthy backers in behind the scenes - let's just hope we don't spend his money before he gives us it |

That will never happen again, the pearman saga was an interesting few months of the trinity rollercoaster

I was at BV today and his men were all over the place doing improvement work - I think his contribution goes beyond a simple cash injection.

Oh yeah, he doesn't strike me as one of those who simply turn up with the cash so they can tell all their mates at the golf club he's a board member, type.
Looks a good appointment, successful businessman, local and obviously well into his sport - definitely a good figure to have around the club. |
