I know the conditions were bad, but they were just as bad when Leeds played Crusaders at Wrexham for the first game there, and they pulled in 10,000. I suppose there was more curiosity value, because they hadn't had rugby league before, but I suspect the Reds will be disappointed. They will see how it goes when it gets warmer, but not the rebirth they planned.

its a good job 1800 cas fans made the journey to salford they would only have being 3200 their good effort in them conditions . Two teams with the worst stadiums this weekend have shown this week its not all about new stadiums . its about what happens on the pitch i don't think a new stadium would improve are attendances . Its what happens on the pitch what puts people on seats .

5200 the crowd. 8500 tickets sold. 3000 missing cos of the weather. Cant blame the club for that. Yes widnes was cold but you didnt have a day of snow to contend with at that game as well which caused road problems. Get a grip people;

They shoulf of called it off a midday before any of the fans set off, it was snowing heavy there then, plus they only cleared half the pitch before the came, surely that isn't right?
If it hadn't of been on sky that game would have been postponed for sure, Sky calling the shots and the RFL jumping through hoops

So you took 10 coaches (2 more than us how convenient) - that is 400 people approx.

Say you then had a convoy of 100 cars optimistically containing 4 people each - that is 400.

Say 200 went by other means that makes 1000 and I reckon that is generous.

That stand holds i think around 2500 and i think you would struggle to get another 1000 or so in there,
