I was lucky and grew up in that era.
Was a young teenager and attended all three cup final wins , the final loss to Leeds in 68 and the championship final triumphs in 67 n 68 or were they 66 n 67 ? memory not what it was.

Won the Championship in 1967 beating St. Helens (21-7 I think) at Station Road, Swinton in a replay after a 7-7 draw at Headingley and in 1968 beating Hull KR 17-10 at Headingley.

Wonder what the attendance was in the 1925 game ! not much health and safety there with folk supporters on 2 sides of the ground sat directly on the side of the pitch.

if you follow the link and watch the finals at wembley will see camera men encroach onto the pitch to get better photos, infact I'm sure one of Trinity tries could of got under the sticks but due to the imbecile getting in the way foxy had to convert it from 5 yrds in from the touch line
