I'd imagine it is. Kear picked his team along similar lines in the last game of last season, giving the likes of Gleeson a run out. To be fair Smith didn't deserve to be dropped in the first place after the Cas game, only reason he was was because he asked if Kear and Beans were on drugs whilst they were getting in a tickle during a video session. At Leeds we should have gone with Smith at 6 and Moore at 7

Basically they lost the plot during a video session. The players were peeved and Smith just stood up and asked them if they were on drugs as the whole thing was supposedly pretty embarassing

Get the ball out wide and you're in with a chance in this one. Watched Bradford last week and the majority of Crusaders tries were scored on the flanks. Bradford weren't expansive and for the majority, played 1 out rugby.

Absolutely ridiculous decision if true! Who cares if they are leaving.
The most important thing tonight is winning and therefore (barring a miracle win for Crusaders against Wigan) us not finishing bottom. Surely even Kear would like to see that and to be able to say that during his tenure we never finished bottom despite some very extenuating circumstances.
Strongest available team playing in their correct positions is the way to go, not just giving folk a game to try and help them earn contracts elsewhere. |
