What world class overseas players can he attract? Apart from washed out ones that want a final payday.

How would the choice between Agar and Goulding be close? Agar who has been coach at a SL club for 4 years or Goulding who's never coached a SL team?

O'Meley, Fitzgibbon, Seymour, Heremeia, Crocker (?) are all very good players!

Can't be Agar. How does this:

I'll give hime a chance but I can't help thinking we've missed a big opportunity to inspire the fans and really change the culture.

Can't believe Agar would even want the job after reading the recent forums. No doubt it's better than unemployement till he gets a job somewhere where he's wanted?

The club read these boards, which makes this all seem worse. Totally uninspiring.

Rather give John Kear his job back.

Looks ominous but if so I'm willing to see how he goes. He's turned it around at Hull, something none of our coaches have done in SL when it's gotten really bad during their tenure.

It does have an air of inevitability about it; Hull, with their wealthy new owner, have nicked Gentle out from under both ourselves and Cas, so we end up with their sloppy seconds in Agar, the Mr Bean of RL.

That said, it hasn't been announced yet, so I hold out a glimmer of hope that there may be another twist in the tale; after all, who genuinely thought we were going to get a SL franchise?
