Fozzard spends more time on the treatment table than on the pitch. 3-4 years ago yes, now no a luxury we can't afford. Ali is our luxury risky signing if you ask me. Were not in a position to be able to have too many of these types of player at the moment. Things may be different in five years or so but at the moment we need lower risk signings.

well Dean Sampson from Stanley wanted to sign for us but we opted for Brent Todd , Dean played over 10 years I think Todd about 10 games ! Players may want to come and we not sign them

did we ever talk to him as a teenager? i think there is good evidence of trinity offering prospects that happen to be fans derisory sums as they think it's a done deal. |

Your first contract as a teenager is where you get to keep the signing on fee, the weekly wages back then and even now for a 16/17 year old are less than you can earn in mc'ds in most cases. So fan or not at that age most follow the pound notes. It's a short career and you can't criticise people for trying to secure their future.
