True, along with king, rinaldi, mots and im sure korki... and just because were safe and buying players now dont think the other vultures (clubs) have stopped circuling around our young british talent beacuse there still there....

| I'd try and keep Morrision if possible.
For his leadership alone but also, when given some better players to play with I think I will show us how good he really is.

| Surely Morrison is exactly the type of player to lead a good mix of youth around the pitch? wears his heart on his sleeve and seen it all.A lot will depend on new coaching set up and his response to that but experience with a still considerable desire to succeed is hard to buy, would be a loss for me.

I hope not steve southern.. just found an article about his time at north queensland cowboys..
"Southern's horrid run of injuries of the past few seasons continued when he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament, playing for the Northern Pride in the Queensland Cup during the Cowboys' bye.
He will meet with surgeon Dr John Maguire tomorrow before undergoing a full reconstruction on his right knee next week."
Dated may 26th 2010.

| if you read the townsville bulletin and the comments underneath by the queensland fans he has been described as a legend of the club very much a workaholic and a fans favourite who never takes a backward step and they are nrl fans which is a much tougher competition than the superleague so if he is fit he should fit in very well and hopefully become a fans favourite here.

| Even more convinced a coach is already in place. I'm sure one of the first things the players ask is who is going to be head coach. They are either getting enough money not to care or are satisfied with the answer.

| An aussie backrower (Southern) and Ali Lau rumoured sugests to me that whoever said Morro would not be offered a contract is probably right.
Shame as without him we would have been even worse this year.
On another note. How about Graham Murray for coach?? Out of work at mo and i am looking for a link with Southern. Had him at Cowboys i think. Would be reasonably happy if so.

| The signings so far are definately raising the overall quality of the squad. Possibly adding Fox, Dowes and even Ali will ensure we are far more competitive next season. I dont know if it is intentional or not but the way the club are announcing the signings is good also. The steady stream of good announcements keeps you interested and wanting more. This is better than announcing them all at the same time. Could it be that the coach will be announced last and be the cherry on top of the cake?

I'd be happy with Murray as head coach, not sure if he will want to come back over though.

I agree completely with this, its great use of the media and as you say keeps interest. I am really enjoying the way they are getting the message out their and they deserve credit.

| Would welcome all of them but Ewan Dowes isn't cracking there is far better out there; that would be a waste of a wage.
