He's too erratic. You never know what you are going to get. He makes decisions that seem to be effected by previous decisions that he did or didn't give and has had second thoughts about. He nearly as bad as our edge defending and thats pretty bad

RFL get rid of this guy he is bullcrap!

I thought he had a very good first half, he was not helped by his linesmen, two high shots went unpunished he was slightly unsighted and looked across for help only to be given a shug of the shoulders.

I think he lost his way for a 15 minute spell in the second half when it seemed that he let our back chatting effect him. He was right to sin bin smith who should never play for us again, the guy is brain dead.

He needs to try and let the game flow more, I think he is getting better and certainly did not effect the result today.

The man is a complete waste of a human body and is stealing oxygen off everybody.I know the club needs our support but I cant stand and watch another game that he is reffing again.
Sick of getting 2nd rate refs every week(Childs and Hicks)this just shows that the RFL have no respect whatsoever for us.

They were having a right good giggle when they left the field, pair of wasters.

The guys a joke and well out of his depth. Not helped by his fellow superleague referee linesman though who was too busy talking and laughing with a Hull substitute to watch the game, thus missing a blatent Hull knock on in the lead up to one of there tries.

Spoke to Agar about Childs and he said, childs is a terrible ref and should be demoted ASAP.

Even though Agar got the rub of the green he was not happy about the game and the way he reffed it.

Make of that what you will but he talked openly and honestly.

Very loud booing from Hull fans when the PA announced the Ref before kick-off but none was heard after the game, or during the last 70 minutes.

Always stuck up for JC in the past but the man doesn't ever look for forward passes, offsides or flops.

It lets the game flow but Hull were more guilty than us.

this is coming from a hull fan, he doesent deserve to be a SL referee, he's terrible, when we played cas he was even more shocking. he was cruel to wakefield and he didnt know what he was doing

The ref was poor today but he was not the reason we lost today - any trin fan who thinks we lost because of childs is a deluded fool.....

spoilt my enjoyment of the game, I don't mind losing but not like that
