Nobody could accuse you of inconsistency regarding your attitude towards him

| Yes - one that could be very good, one that couldn't be 'rsd. Unfortunately, we usually got the second one.

| Yep we would have won that game with Jeffries in the team. The decision to release him has proven to be a very costly one. He was more than happy to stay but it seems we decided to get him off the wage bill for the rest of the year. That decision has just cost us more in lost gate receipts from the next round. And with it probably our best hope of persuding the RFL to give us another licence. The new regime has made its first mistake and its a big one.

Jeffries may or may not have made the difference yesterday, but in his time in SL there is no evidence to say he definitely would’ve.

| Evidence yet again that we rate players and back them more when they have left than while they are actually playing for us.

| You don't know what you've got til its gone.
Anyway time to give Gareth Moore a go and see if he's up to it.

Apparently not, who knew we had a match winner on the books for all that time.

| Some of us have been saying all year that he was our best halfback but don't let that get in the way of your sly digs.

Given that he was our only half back I would have to agree. Lets hope Moore gets a run out soon.

We may or may not have, we'll never know.
If our chance of getting a franchise rested on us winning yesterday then we are well and truly dead in the water.
I would have thought turning out a near all British team would be far more important than winning one game.

Spot on. It's in incredible mentality that is so typical of Trinity fans especially the touchline internationals on here. Probably the same mentality that prompts someone to bin Hydes ability as a S/O when it's clear to anyone with a brain that he's still learning his trade after 5 games in that position. Or the mentality that claims we need a top Scrum Half, like Thurston, well who doesn't.
We are not great, but the truth is most of our players are young enough to get better and probably will - with someone else - you've seen nothing yet just imagine the tantrums yet to come.

Why don't you do us all a favour a go to Oz to find this elusive scrum half.
Ben Jeffries' form was more up and down than that welsh Manchester United footballer's (who can't be named for legal reasons) arris on that actress.
He was second best to Kyle Briggs in the Bulls side, yes he may have laid on a try (the one time he took on the line) for Ah Vann but other than that he was practically invisible.
It wasn't scrum half that was needed against Cas it was composure and some structure when we hit the front. A half back is only as good as his forward pack allow him to be, get go forward and he will create, give him nothing and you get nothing.
