OK, yes robbed is a bit strong, but who's to say it won't be free plus a ticket for Wigan game in a few weeks.
Yes I have got what I paid for at the time of purchase but wish I hadn't bothered.
Still think it is unfair and know a few others that feel the same.

| The silver membership offers supporters a pretty decent saving. Tickets £10 for Catalan, Crusaders, Quins & Salford (granted we've played), that's already a £40 saving. Bradford, Huddersfield, Hull FC, Hull KR, Warrington for £15, a £25 saving. The others, a £8 saving.
So for £30, you can possibly save £73, with other perks. In my book that's a pretty good offer. Just as in sales in retail shops, prices can fluctuate. Some increase as well as reduce, it's unfortunate you've recently bought yours, but when you purchased it, i'm guessing you made the decision to support your team and save cash. What has changed?
If you feel so strongly about this, the proper way would be to email the club, ring them up or send a letter.

I work away a lot and can't make all the games, like I said the main reason I purchased the membership was to show my support not really expenting to save money.
But to reduce the price by 33% and get a free ticket (to one of the games I can make) has not made me a happy bunny.
I can't look into the future and see which games I can and can't make but not expecting anymore than 3 maybe 4 home games this year.
Will contact Trinity tomorow and see what happens.
Don't want to put a downer on the offer it is good, but maybe too early as obviously it's not going to stay £30 for the full season as games go by.

Grow up come on yes £18 is welcome to anyone but your already saving "X" and thic may help in securing a licence.
Just accept you got a good deal at that moment in time and the easter "sale" has started and its been reduced. You don't take a TV back if you buy it in week 1 for £500 and then in Week 3 its down for £470

If I bought a tv for £500 and 5 days later it was reduced to £335 (which is 33% discount, think you need to go back to school) and got a free sky box/tv stand, call me tight but yes I would take it back.
Thanks for the grow up it's only £18 but in this day and age £18 is a lot of money to some.
Like I've said it's a good idea and I have talked a lot of people into buying one, but a lot of friends who bought one around the same time feel the same. Say me plus ten mates bought one last week if we would have bought one today that's a £180 saving if you couldn't work it out.

| Slightly off topic (apologies) but does anyone know if junior memberships count towards the membership total?
Personally I think they should 'cause after all they're still members, and, as cheesy as it sounds, they are the "fans of the future", but I was just wondering if anyone knew the official stance on it?

Yes I was wondering whether the bronze membership; went towards membership total.

I think your going OTT here, the fact is, it happens all the time, when you buy something, then the next time you see the item, it's in a sale, like the example you used of a TV, there constantly dropping prices of TV's.
I bought a couple at £30 for presents for relatives, but I don't mind that they're trying to get extra fans in, you take the rough with the smooth and I know, the money went to a good cause, which is supporting Trinity, anyway you more than make your money back in savings.

| Everyone who would normally pay for the game should buy the Wakey Express and purchase a Silver membership. I bought my daughter one the other week, she hasn't been able to get to a game yet but I don't feel like I've been robbed. Infact i'm thinking of buying my mother one! I work at the head office of Yorkshire Building Society in Bradford and we are always getting things from the Bulls & Giants about special offers and ticket deals. Maybe the club has already thought of targeting the businesses in Wakefield.

Contact the club, tell them how you feel and see if they can sort it out, they are trying to raise support and the profile of the club and i'm sure they'll do what they can rectify this for you.

| Not sure why the club should do anything, you have bought it at the time in good faith.
I notice today they have announced a 30% ofF sale on Macron coats, does that mean anybody who has bought a coat previously should be given a refund?

So why whinge about it then?
You have saved money, even if that's not why you bought it, but you're whinging because, potentially, someone else might save more!

I struggle to make a lot of games so £30 silver membership was a hard choice and I may just get my money back, but wanted to show my support. My membership number is just over 300 so were still nowhere near 5000.
When apple brought out the ipad 2 (I know we haven't got as much money as apple) they allowed all people who bought the ipad 1 within the last month they're money back.
I feel like I've been robbed for supporting my club.'"
