Aye, it was evident last week we didn't have a scooby in attack.. apart from a high kick.

Always going to happen when you have little creativity in the halves.

| I'm afraid it's going to be like this all season. This is a Bradford side missing lots of regulars too. Just got to show support for the young uns. Without some support for Johnson and king up front and a bit of craft and guile at half back then we'll be the proverbial whipping boys this season. Won't look good on our franchise application. Thanks ted as this is all down to you

Which is only to be expected when our muppet of a coach wouldnt give a chance to a stand off on loan - Harvey.
Rumours are that hes actually gone back to Warrington early,he didnt see the point of playing u20s here when he could do the same at Warrington.
If true who would blame the lad.

Maybe not all down to Ted. JK has spent the budget and whilst some of his signings look good like Johnson and Mariano, others (particularly given the positions they play where we are already well stocked) look bad.
Ive said it before no point signing loads of utility players when you are crying out for props and a decent half back

Whats the point of this comment? If you want to dispute the validity of the reasons a number of us are questioning Kears recruitment policy and team selection then please do so, with a reasoned argument (and preferably not the old chestnuts of ....
Theres no one better
He didn't have a lot of money to spend etc....

I agree in a way however he'll have had a budget to work with and not a very big one at that hence signings like smith and Tony who couldn't get a gig anywhere else. If we are to be even remotely competitive then we need to spend some cash

As far as I'm aware he has money to spend, but who's going to sign and who's even available.

But thats the problem, I don't think they are true.
We are running with a young squad and Kear has not got a great track record with handling young players development. He's had his "one-off" backs to the wall cup final appearance away at Catalans, his track record last season with a stronger squad was woeful as well. My view is we have nothing to lose by bringing someone new in because there will be no pressure on them to get results and if they can get us to play more attractive rugby, then it might be more bearable to watch and we might actually suprise a few teams.
5 drives and a kick with the smallest pack in the league is not the right tactics.
He may have limited money, but he will have known what that budget was and would have been better trusting some of the clubs own youngsters to fill gaps in the squad and spent more money on players that can play in the positions we are lacking in.
