Bumped into one of the club "employees" in ASDA a couple of hours ago (not prepared to say who to protect their identity), and was told that all potential owners have given verbal assurances that all season tickets, and sponsorship deals will be honoured, when whichever one of them is successful, actually takes over
All staff are obviously hoping that their positions will be safe under new ownership, but at the moment there are no guarantees.

I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT THE SHOP STAFF HAVE COME IN FOR A LOAD OF ABUSE FROM SOME SO-CALLED FANS, WHO ARE UNHAPPY ABOUT OUR CURRENT SITUATION !!!!!!!!!!!! I HOPE IT'S NO-ONE ON HERE ?????

(Some genuine fans have been far more understanding, and have been very supportive ....after all, they are just employees of a company, the same as most of us are ...it's not their fault the Company's gone belly-up !!), and yes I know David Richardson works in there, but it's not fair to blame him for his father's current financial plight !!

I am led to understand that the administrator will not be appointed until Friday 11th because they only hear administration applications in Leeds on Fridays? so we may have a little longer to wait.

I've been in the shop today and the staff were helpful and very upbeat about Wakefield's future, I do hope no-one has been abusing them it's not their fault.

Exactly what I was told by the above-mentioned employee.....but they also said that if things go to plan, that we should be back out of administration, under new ownership, WITHIN 2 HOURS .
(Apparently Mr Kear has asked if they could sort it by 11.00 am rather than 12.00, as that is when they are setting off to Cardiff
