Chariman Ted never wants anyone to get more recognition than him, think about it as soon as a player or anyone tied to the club gets positive recognition Ted starts to work to get rid of that person, Gareth Ellis is a good example as is David Solomona, Willie Poching are others. There are many more examples just think about it. You had a "Super League Coach of the Year" and from that point on he was on the outer as far as Ted was concerned. Move the chairman and the club will move froward.

No - we bought the ground back for more than we sold it the council for - albeit some of that was never paid as it became part of the CVA in 2000.

The money from the sale is to be used to 1) keep us afloat and 2) to help us develop the business.

"if" we get another franchise and "if" we get a new stadium the club would be worth much more than if we dont get a new franchise even if we have a shiny new ground. Mine is the opinion of Hundreds of people in Wakefield and that is why alot of people I know wont set foot in Belle Vue or any other stadium until hes gone! Fair enough he may have been there through Thin and Thinner but its time he stepped aside and let someone new have a go to attempt to make a success out of wakefield that we havent had since the sixties. I didnt see it but certainly would like my club to be a force to be reckoned with again.

So when Ted took over it was because he was the quickest in the huge queue of wealthy backers just itching to put money into our club? Like him or not, and I have no opinion either way never having actually met the guy, he was there when the club needed him, and when nobody else was. For that fact alone he deserves respect and gratitude. If I were a wealthy bloke looking to 'invest', or to put it more properly blow huge sums of cash for no financial return, I'd look at all the spite and bile on here and think twice about it!
