| It's been stuck for the past 5 years, but you know that Fully.
If your club was able to fund the ground your fans wouldn't be so open to ridicule. RW has made your club a joke- don't blame us for laughing!

As opposed to a club that has been trying to get a new stadium for nigh-on a decade including several different locations?
Actually, it's been stuck for three years - ever since we got planning permission. And there have been a lot of reasons for that, such as not knowing what council facilities were going to be in it. But you already know this...still, anything to try and make out it's failing....

It is a shame that others have to try and knock another team who is trying to get a new stadium isn't it ? I hope we get ours and that Wakefield do too.

So actually they are no further forward than anybody!!!!'"
You couldnt be more wrong pal, Salford started land remenition months ago, work to prepare the land for development started on site in May, funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency.
Detailed planning application for the new £26 million community stadium at Barton will go to Salford planners next week (Thursday, August 19). The planning application is for a new stadium with a maximum capacity of 20,000, built-in offices, player facilities, hospitality boxes, concessions and community resources.
It will have two outdoor sports pitches – one grass and one artificial pitch – and a new access route to the stadium via Liverpool Road.
An outline application for around 21,000 square metres of non-food retail is also be submitted to the council’s planning panel on the same day.
Development of the stadium will be phased with retail units added later.
After work to prepare the site is completed, construction of the new stadium will start in November.
Once the stadium is built it will be managed by the joint venture company with the Reds having a licence to use it.
Wakefield havn't even had first phase planning permition granted yet, so i'd advise you pal to do your homework before spouting your rubhish thank you.

What's 'remenition' when it's at home? If you're going to have a rant at least get the name correct. I suspect, however, you meant "remediation" works.

What a lot of people (SWC) have failed to realise, in business and construction in general, when there's no comments on funding, it's there but when comments are flying around all over, i.e. actively looking for funding it isn't there, there's a reason RW has set them deadlines, it's because everything is now in place and barring a snag in any process, it will go ahead as planned in that link.

You sir are even more deluded that I previously thought.
Of course he would. There is no better route out of the situation from his point of view.
"We got the land, had designs drawn up, but because of a lack of support and interest from the WMDC and other local sporting clubs we cannot afford to build it, coupled with the economic downturn...."
Including the existing planning application, designs and land contracts I bet no more than £100,000 has been spent on the stadium to date. The land clearance would have been done by Waystones anyway, choose what got built. That princely sum isn't bad when you think how long it's kept RW in work. That could "blag" you 6 years in SL so I think Cas fans should be careful when pointing the finger regarding Thornes Park and how we played smoke and mirrors to enable us to get a franchise.
People in Glasshoughton shouldn't throw stones!

£50,000 in a feasibility study
£150,000 in architects plans
£75,000 in land clearing
Yep, under 100 grand
I'd give up if I were you mate, you clearly know nothing about the stadium (or construction industry) if you think that any company would come out proclaiming where all the money has come from is actually laughable, the money is there - hence the silence and targets put out in PUBLIC today. Sorry to tell you this, as much as you'll hate it - those deadlines are pretty much bang on.
