| I see the Wakefield fans are getting nervous.
Yes our pitch looked a bit "dry" on Saturday night i agree, however our groundsman has won several awards for our pitch , now about our ground , we had the chance to play at the KC but declined this offer as we are an East Hull club ( yes i know the club originated in West Hull many moons ago), Our fans create a fantastic atmosphere at Craven Park the East Stand on their day can be very loud this lifts the players they have said so themselves if your fans or players find this intimidating tough!!! it called an atmosphere and money can't buy it , even if you did have any money which you don't you still couldn't buy it , so you will never have one .
As for two SL clubs in Hull ...our derby is the only true derby in SL the atmosphere is awesome , the rivalry and banter between the fans in the city is crazy all year we are a proper RL city.
Lets face it you have been under the eye of the RFL for years and have had several warnings which your club seemed to have ignored, i don't come to wakey anymore your ground is awful there is no atmosphere maybe that will improve if Castleford let you play in their new ground, the pundits have hinted at you both merging anyway so who knows .

Well that's a coincidence because I don't go to your place anymore because it is a crap hole and the last time I went we came out after the match to find my mates car had been nicked.

Our ground MAY be crap, but, you would not be forced into, by brain dead stewards who seemed hell bent on causing a riot, an area of the ground(score board end) where you could see nothing of either try line or experience anything of the so called "Atmosphere". This happened to us LAST season and I swear I and a lot of others will never set foot in the STADIUM? again.

Also heard the same about Noble being paid by the RFL, I would not be surprised because they did the same with Harlequins, they cannot stand their projects going wrong and will pay out through the nose to make sure they keep non-supported failed projects in the league at the expense of teams with fans & history.'"

You was forced into the ground ?. The score board end is the South stand and i agree the view is poor, however it is not much better stood at the bottom of the "away" end behind the sticks at your ground.
Our atmosphere is awesome when the East stand are in full voice look at Leeds last week and Bradford this week when we were on sky it was a brilliant atmosphere , your fans are way to quiet.
I believe that you and Castleford will not have your own grounds due to finances , you can't really warrant two new stadiums so close to each other.
I think you will ground share and once the dust has settled the RFL will force a merger between you both and they will bring in an extra club from the NL , the pundits are already hinting at it now .
Both Hull clubs are known for their fantastic away support and we generate a lot of money for other clubs , your away support is embarrassing to be honest but you are not alone .
Hull has the only true derby in SL . It must be frustrating for your fans regarding the stadium news but i think it is best for you if you do ground share and merge it seems the way forward for you , enjoy the rest of the season.

That would never happen Tim Wilby tried that trick years ago.
We had the opportunity to play at the KC stadium as it is a Council owned stadium but we declined the offer , we didn't want to play in West Hull !!.
We had a choice it appears you may not have a choice , you have had several warning from the RFL about your ground and broken promises over the years.

| i heard today, from a reliable source, that HKR are being told to improve their pitch, ground, stewarding, access facilities, parking, match day environment, and local area in time for the 2012 franchises, if not KC time, until such time as a viable east hull provides a for a family friendly 21st century stadium for both home and away fans.

a reliable source , Access facilities ? the roads around the ground have just been widened and new traffic measures put in place , our pitch is fine , we are improving our ground the plans have been finalised, parking is fine we have a huge car park, match day enviroment is great.
We are not worried about the franchise we are competing , we have been since our promotion to SL .
Plus we have John Prescott on board that's always handy .
Look on our forum do you see concern ?, then look at your forum .........
I don't want to argue with you i was just defending my club.

| I have to agree with allot of posts on here. Yes hkr is the worst ground I've been to. Stewards are rediculous but I must say I have met allot of good hk fans who like to have a bit of banter. I think hull have the worst fans as most games I have gone to I have seen trouble. There must be a reason no one from hull is aloud in the ground floor bar. Which I witnessed a few years ago. But I don't think that was hkrs fault. I feel if the boot was on the other foot (which it's not) but there is no way hkr or hull would groundshare. I spoke to various hkr fans after our poor loss and they all said I hope you hammer hull. Also the sad 'die die Cooke cooke die' hull fans are rediculous. I don't like allot of rugby players but I would never shout anything like that to a proffesional sportsman.
Io do agree though that the atmosphere at Wakefield can be a bit degrading sometimes. I can shout my head off for 80 mins and only my friends join in. This cannot be good for the players. Please wakey fans get behind your team and club and make your voice heared at our ground.
Ok rant over. I'll await the abuse. Sorry for my spelling, I'm writing this on my phone at work.

| I agree the chants from the Hull FC fans towards Paul Cooke were disgraceful , i'm suprised the RFL did not take action , the FC fans did that to him when he played for us.
Good luck for the rest of the season .
