If Jk was to quit as your coach im pretty sure that terms in his contract would prevent him from joining any other club as an employee in the same position ( position held ) as stated on his contract without the new employers optaining the permision from his previous employees.
But a differant club could offer him a Position as long as its differant to the previous contract he has defaulted from and no compensation would after be offered

ie from Head coach or coach to technical support or player personnal advisor or something daft like that. Pretty much like the scenario at warrington last year with smith.

I don't think they've got the cash to pay Wakefield compensation or to offer JK the wages he'd demand.
Neither are Cas in a position teamwise to tempt JK who, while he loves a challenge, would'nt want to drink from a poisoned chalice.

Unlike the challenge that Wakefield faced when JK joined, there is much to lose at Cas whereas we were all but relegated barring a minor miracle. Also JKs position is different, when he joined us he had been out of the game for a few months and was unatached making his decision to take the Wakefield job and get back in the game at SL level an easy one.

Brough had a contract with Wakefield but he ended up at Huddersfield , contracts aren't usually worth the paper there are written on . It's more about the honour of the people who commit to them.
