Hi Doctor Kildare, Mr King has had a bad viras that has knocked him for six. he has lost a lot of weight so is not fit to play. You been a Doctor and that should know these thinks. PS had any par king fines this week. |

Johnson will not be available for a while yet - he is struggling.
King is recovered, but has not yet played in the reserves having come back from illness. I was under the impression that it was agreed that this was the route back to the first team.
Conversely, Gledhill has played in every reserve match and has earned his place through impressive performances. If King wants the first team - he needs to show up on Saturday!

I know its not going to happen but just look at the side above that we could choose from the 19. I know there's a fair few aussie's / kolpaks above but the english players that are there, it is pleasing to see that the majority come from this area or have come through our scholarship program.

At some point in the game, should circumstances allow, I would be moving Demetriou into the pack with Murphy switching to centre and Blanch coming in on to the wing.
I have no doubt that Justin Morgan will be looking at Sean Gleeson's defence and for this reason I would put JD out there. I'm still not convinced about JD being a back rower, and I think he needs a small confidence boost to kickstart this season, playing wide out in the centre might just allow him a little more freedom whilst removing some of the heavy workload he gets at loose forward.
Also by starting with JD in the centres we are effectively playing with four forwards on the bench!
Six of the seventeen are Wakefield Trinity Academy produced players!
