You would have thought it would be updated by now

1 matchHarlequins RL prop Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats forward Richard Moore were each suspended for one match when they appeared before the RFL Disciplinary Committee this evening.

McCarthy-Scarsbrook, who was also fined £200, will miss his side’s Engage Super League match at Warrington Wolves on Sunday after the RFL Disciplinary Committee suspended him for one match for head-butting Richard Moore in the 76th minute of Harlequins’ 18-10 defeat at The Twickenham Stoop last Saturday.

Moore was ordered to pay a £300 fine after being found guilty of punching in the same incident, which led to both players being sent off by referee Ian Smith. Moore will miss Wakefield’s home fixture against Catalans Dragons on Sunday.'"

Its a level playing field they keep telling us, not when it comes to wakefield its not

What an absolute joke the RFL panel are. One match for a bit of argy-bargy that you see week in week out. Yellows each would have done especially with the game being early season and niggly throughout. Yet Crusaders player Adam Peek, (maliciously in my opinion) attacks the head of Delaney with his elbow splitting his head open and gets nothing except a caution. Shocking.

The red cards were probably fair. But the aftermath punishment doesn't add. Surely use the use of head warrants more of a ban than punching. The only thing that could made this outcome could have been that LMS has a very clean discilinary record before this incident. It could be that they looked at Richards record and thought it was fair. I don't always think there is consitancy when it comes to the panel.

Although at the game I didn't see what happened, I did see the Super League show.With LMS not having an exemplary disciplinary record and appearing to be the most aggressive,how can there be such a disparity in the fines ?

The biff is officially over. A dark day indeed.

Once again the RFL disciplinary confuse everyone.

They look at the incident and decide both players are to be charged and a what grade they should be charged.

Then this is the bit i just dont get:

LMS is charged with a grade B and Moore with a Grade A

The grading dictating punishment,so how the hell can the player charged with the offence with least applicable punishment end up being punished the most??

Both players have been sent off once in the last 3 years.

They RFL Disciplinary really do make themselves look very stupid.

Wakefield never seem to appeal any ruling from the disciplinary, WHY ???.

With these decision's the panel have set themselves a benchmark that punching and head butting gets at least a one match ban.So lets see if they carry it on through the season.

The fine is to offset the cost of travel from London to Leeds.
