Must agree, loads of potential but not yet showing a passion for the club.Heard him interviewed on REAL RADIO I think, really sounding down with the club and saying his future was elsewhere, hopefully with HKR.

When he was on loan to them. How the club let him get away with slagging them and coach Kear off(though not outright-only hinting strongly)I don,t know!!

| People say Bibb has potential. Where is it because i havent seen a hint of any since he has been here. His work rate is lousy and he has no clout when taking the ball up when he does decide to to do some work. I could be wrong but did he not go on loan to Sheffield a while back and could not even make the team there? Would rather pick young Trout as at least he will do some work on what i have seen of him.

| I cant see why people keep on slagging off our young players & while Kylie is in a Wakefield shirt we should be encouraging him 100% not knocking him down he is still young and will keep learning under JK & PB

| I think we should release him to stop paying the wages and offer a real prospect eg Annakin a decent offer on a decent term so we get our money's worth.

Maybe not a bad idea in principal, but I believe its the last year of his contract, give him a chance to prove his value and to earn a new deal, he is still only young in prop terms but I agree he needs to up the ante this coming season. Hull KR were obviously impressed with him so lets hope he shows that type of form for us. With him having a year left its also not possible to just release him, we'd have to pay him off so we wouldn't be any better off or in a position to offer the likes of Annekin an improved deal.
For what its worth I believe we should be really trying to tempt Chris in to a full time deal, hes got star written all over him. Some say hes not big enough but for me he knows when to run and runs perfect angles nearly every time and knows how to time a pass really well. Not a bad defender too!

I know what you mean mate. But i have yet to see any evidence of this potential. If he were busting a gut for us and it was just not happening for him then fair enough. This does not seem to be happening though. I think we should be channeling our efforts into another prospect.

At the Audience with night Paul Broadbent was asked the question about Annekin, he said that he was offered the same terms as the rest of the academy lads who’ve stepped up to FT this season the offer was not palatable for him (or his agent) so he chose to remain part time whilst working FT outside of RL. Broadbent also alluded to the fact that Annekin seemed to be now regretting this decision after seeing his team mates enjoying full time training.
The reasoning behind this is to ensure that all academy players are treated the same and the club keeps to a specific wage structure. While the money may not be great, the club are offering a potential SL career to young hopefuls. The big money comes when you’ve made your way in the game and not at the start.
