I've got the away adidas shirt and interestingly enough it's got a proper collar - and so's "the king's" on my avitar , now i know it's obviously a genuine shirt , but i can remember us wearing them for a couple of seasons , and i can remember the v neck one - but did Wally Lewis wear one ? eusa_naughty.gif

Can't see any mention of there being a signature on it at all. If the seller can prove it's original, that's the £250 question (or the £205 question as things currently stand). No reason to suppose it isn't, but proving it is another thing.

I was just being a bit naughty really , i'd love it! - probably just bad picture quality with the badge - not sure it's been worn by "the king" though .

the badge is interesting too. when did we change to the one with the blue W. the one on the avatar looks like that one and not like the one on e-bay??
Still, very nice shirt but authenticity certainly affects the value.

The badge on the Wally and Toppo shirts is the old Fleur de Lys - we went to the w badge about 87 (ish) - think it was the blue shirt and the red & white stripes at the top (british coal sponsored) that had it on 1st - may be wrong though .

The Adidas shirts we wore were extremely thick cotton and from the picture on eBay it doesn't look as heavy as I remember.

Also I don't remember having a v-neck collar on the shirt

my mistake, i thought it said the shirt was autographed by him, all the same i was way out with my estimate i looks like one of you wakey guys might have to break the bank to keep it from going to aus, but its a big gamble to take if you cant be 100% sure he wore it icon_confused.gif

Spooky my birthday today after opening my socks, soap on a rope and brut i asked the current Mrs Fred Gee when was I getting my 1983 adiads Wakey shirt...she just looked at me I could have been talking a foreign language !!!


I was not aware of the collar but definately the adidas badge and Trinity badge were in blue so can not seeing it being genuine...get it DNA'd i touched it as i helped carry him off at Thrum Hall in his last game.

Best kit we ever had.

Best player i have ever seen in a Trinity shirt.

PLEASE MR RICHARDSON LISTEN TO THE FANS AND REVERT TO THIS KIT.
