| I wish we had the chance to input the fans view/thoughts into any new stadium. The impression given by the club is that we will have a basic stadia which will probably follow a pre-determined design. Our projected time scale appears to be slipping - there were always going to be delays.
Both clubs have a lot of work to do. Cas at long last, seem to be moving forward according to the evenng post update. I am however, more concerned about the progress of OUR stadium than any others.

22151_1298059614.jpg LOOKING FOR ACCOMMODATION IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA

| Nothing wrong with what Castleford are doing if thats what they want to do.
I'd much rather it be done like we appear to be doing it with Architects already appointed and plans prepared. The problem with asking the fans what they want is that we all want different things. I want an all seater stadium but I know that some want standing - at the end of the day I'll be grateful whatever we get.
The problem with design competitions is that you can end up with such a compromise that its not want anyone wants. A racehorse designed by a committee ends up looking like a camel but good luck to Castleford.
At the end of the day it will all come down to funding for both stadiums - we either have funding or we don't, its as simple as that - assuming of course that planning can be obtained in our case.

I completely agree, we have enough worries of our own to gloat about others!
I'll gloat over cas' when we beat you twice next season.
As for the ground when we have something concrete we cam jump up and down, until then lets not tempt fate, as for your ground, I couldn't care less, but best of look to you, but as I said I couldn't care less!!

Warning - jumping up and down on concrete can be bad for your joints

| Well the Cas clubs invitation to fans to help with the design has already had a big effect round Cas.
I went shopping round the J32 Outlet today for some stocking fillers for Christmas - couldn't find any shops with crayons in stock anywhere!!

Getting the supporters to get their crayons out and draw fantasy stadia is not what you do when time is your enemy. Unless you are playing for time of course
Where does it say fans are drawing the stadium plans? Clearly in your bid to have a dig, you've actually misread the article.
The architects will be chosen who have ALREADY drawn up their own designs. Then they will get together with the club and finalise planning permission which will be submitted post Christmas (April) with 12 weeks to ratify it. May seem like another nothing statement to you, but it's fair to say it's a lot more than your own club are releasing. Would you not agree?
And would you fans like to have a say in what goes in YOUR stadium? After all it's a stadium for Wakefield is it not? Or would you pin all your hopes and desires in the trust of the club, in which some of you have been slating over the last few days....

firstly we would "all" love a say in "our" grounds however actuall getting them built is the main and indeed only priority at this stage for both clubs future ambitions!!
Secondly our boards are the ones that are both in chattge of getting these grounds built so we both have little choice in pinning our hopes on them!!
As for our board, no I don't have a great deal of faith in them, but I don't reckon much to your lot neither, but we're both stuck with em sofingers crossed!!!!!!

sorry to say but you are wrong, getting the stadium right is parramount for the future sucess of any club, just think its going to be your home for the next 100 years not just the next franchise application.
ask anyone involved at warrington they will tell you they cut corners just to get it built and the cost to put it right will be expensive, although they have a nice ground they admit they made mistakes and got some things wrong which has cost the club money.

firstly in "your" opinion i'm wrong, you thinking I am does not make it a fact, but are welcome to your opinion.
Secondly if we don't get the ground sorted and quickly we won't need a home for 100 years as we'll be going titsup as will you in "my" opinion.
