On a serious note the England coach is not the MAIN problem IMO.


We should turn the whole game upside down, and by that i mean coach young players from 6 upwards to "win" and be the "best" throw the money at the best coaches to coach them and start from the bottom and not the top.
Stop this "taking part is the main thing " attitude and coach kids to play rugby league and play at the highest level.
Its no good having " tony's dad" has coach and young fredies dad assistant coach. (no disrespect to these guys cos they do what they can) but we need to work upwards from the bottom and not produce players with poor skill levels and attitude before handing them on to the Pro clubs and then England.

You have to teach skills at a early age or it just won't work.

I understand that but there are plenty of clubs and players to oversee during the season, surely a full time coach would be able to involve himself with players at all clubs. Could be money well spent.

No, it's exactly the attitude we need and have for years. The Aussies seem to do it, the Americans do it....we need to do it too. There has to be losers, but if you go out there thinking, "Well, it doesn't matter, at least we had a go," we will never produce the winners we need at the top level.

I don't think there is another English coach in Super League who is up to the job, so why not think outside the box and go for Shaun Edwards?

no disrepect to any of the england team we showed for 60 mins last night we could match them but as son as they turned up the gas we had nothing

i wanna see us turn the aussie over every time and start winning big compitions.

like mccray said last night the aussies have not only the nrl week in week out they have the state of origin so when it comes to big compitions like the four nations, the world cup and the tri nations they can handle the big stage and win.

i think we need to bring back yorkshire vs lancshire and more international games against the likes of new zeland and the aussies so we can progress our game

Personally I not a fan of England, I much prefer to see a Great Britain team taking on the touring sides from Oz and NZ in a three game series.
