Though not in Offiah's class (and as limited as he was, he was a bit more than speed), when he loses his pace, there'll be nothing left, like Offiah's sad, later days.
Give the lads a chance to sink or, hopefully, swim...much better for us long term.

I'd take George over him 10 times out of 10. I don't think we realise what we have in George yet - but I'm fully signed up to the fan club!

| I think saying he is slow is a bit over the top. He was good when he was with us (eventually) and was ok at Salford but was injured a bit.
There is no evidence tos ay he has lost his pace.
and I thought he had signed for Halifax, but either way, unless he was coming as a squad player, on squad player wages it's a no from me.

No no no. he's got NL1 written all over him. take away his pace and he offers little. no rugby brain, poor defence, no ball skills.
and lets be honest, how often to we put our wingers in open space?
George and Murphy offer much more and as has been said we have the youth coming through.
signing white now would be a backward step, one thankfully i cant imagine kear making

Cant remember those, ok the pace faded and he did not get put in space like he used to but he still scored plenty of tries wherever he played, always had an eye for the line.
Paul White's main problem is himself and that is why you dont want or need him back in my opinion.

Even at Salford? He may have had an eye for the line, but his legs had gone.
White can only dream of having been that good. We've had calls for Spicer to come back, now White...anyone going to want to bring the March brothers back again?

Agreed but 21 tries in 41 appearances is not a bad return in a poor Salford side, lets not forget he did not have the likes of Gene Myles inside him.
It is often never good to have players return to the club, only usually works if they have a real affinity for 1 club, i do not think Paul White was ever in love with Trinity as a club, and would be willing to dig deep for the cause as some players do who have genuine affection for a club like Korki for example.
