BROUGH A DOUBT

Brough picked up a hip injury in last week's 24-10 win over Hull KR but the Wildcats will definitely have playmaking hooker Brad Drew back for his final home game.

"Danny is still a doubt and that will obviously have a bearing on the final permutation," said coach John Kear.

Castleford-bound forward Steve Snitch and winger Luke George will also return after sitting out the final game of the regular season but the presence of Brough could be crucial, according to Catalans full-back Clint Greenshields.

"They have a nine-seven-six triangle which is very lively and quick," said Greenshields.

"Ryan Atkins in the centre is a real danger but we've to watch Sam Obst, Brad Drew and Danny Brough. They are very good ball-players which they showed two weeks ago."

Drew, who is leaving Belle Vue at the end of the season to rejoin Huddersfield, scored a try and kicked four goals in Wakefield's 34-20 win over the Dragons in Perpignan earlier this month.

That enabled the Wildcats to complete the double over the French club but Kear admits the Catalans' shock 24-12 win at St Helens last Friday makes them dangerous opponents."Any team that has got (Adam) Mogg and (Thomas) Bosc at half-back, Greenshields at full-back and Greg Bird playing as a lock deserve our utmost respect," he said.

"And any team that can go to St Helens and win when it needs to win heightens your respect for them."'"
