Vasty the statement made said 100% of Wakefield fans would rather have Obst in the team than Tomkins....firstly it had nothing to do with what position they play it was a who would you rather have in your team question, secondly it was made is jest, so calm down and stop taking things so seriously.

Obst is a very good player one of the most underated in the league, he is a good pro, gets though a ton of work and is valuable to Trinity, i hope he does re-sign as Trinity now need some consistency in the squad for 2010.

I was at wembley too - right on the touchline at the hudds end and to be honest never heard a song , chant all afternoon - pathetic . Oh , and 50% decided to go with 5-10 mins left , fantastic !

Takes one to know one as they say - don't get carried away he has a way to go yet. Myler and Westerman have recently been the next big thing only to settle down to a more mediocre level.

That said Tomkins is by far and away the most exciting and will IMHO become this countries first International standard half back in years. I hope he stays at Wigan and becomes such in which case I don't want him.

What I really want is for Wakey fans to show the same support to Cain Southernwood as Wigan fans have for Tomkins. We don't need to be looking over the garden fence. Let's hope Cain also reaches his potential and gives Tomkins a run for his money.
