| Fantastic promotion by the Club who should be applauded.
I'm an old fart and I go to watch rugby but its the 21st century and we are in the business of entertainment and entertainment is more than just a game of rugby now if you want to attract new supporters.
We should be looking to do something similar next season for the games with Celtic, Catalans and Harlequins which are generally poorly supported.
A big well done to the Club.

| I have been niggling at Ted to go down the route of 'added value' rather than discounting.
Thoroughly enjoyed the performance by Diversity and was chuffed to bits by the turn-out.

I'm a happy depressive - the glass is half empty but the bar is open.: |
|
| Personally I thought the dance group were nothing special - if they won a talent contest then the rest of the entries must have been poor Then again I have no interest in dance groups and I was obviously in the minority and lots of people enjoyed them.
As an event it was a great event put on by the club that brought in a decent crowd for what would normally have been a poorly attended game and they should be congratulated for that.

I've been saying the same to him. You cannot expect people just to come and watch us you have to make the day an event that will appeal to others than just the die hard rugby fan. Market the club, the game and the day's entertainment, not just a game.
Perhaps with the success of today he may will agree.

| Like others on here , I'm not too fussed about Diversity, but then it wasn't aimed at me.
I like many on here have turned up for donkeys years come hail or shine, it's not me they're after it's the one's who've never been before and the ones who've been but lapsed.
Great move by the club, I reckon it put 4K - 4.5K on the gate. Hopefully many will be encouraged to return

Nobody on here can should really comment on how good they are IMO. We are not experts in dancing and people who are say they are great. It was a different setting to what they are used to with fans totally surrounding them, unlike a stage where the audience are just in front of you.
Surely the main thing is that is raised the attendance and they got a better reception than Chico, Ray Quin, Matt Willis etc

She was until she signed a new contract with them, but soon after they realised that she would take them over their overseas players and now are trying to find a loop hole in the contract, unless I have got this case mixed up with another

| Firstly - Thought Diversity were very good and I thoroughly enjoyed their performance. I'm not usually one for all that type of stuff, I'd prefer to watch the rugby (the academy before the game if I could) and possibly young kids at half time. I do appreciate though that times have changed and people want more than just the rugby.
Secondly - If this type of thing could be used to help get the punters in for future games, then you have to take into account the price for such events. Would today have been the huge success it was if the price of tickets was £18 and how many times a season can you give a cheap game away without upsetting season ticket holders?
It was a big success and a big well done to the club though and does show the potential support is out there and should come as a huge boost to know that if we can deliver the new stadium then there's definitely the potential to fill it on a regular basis.

Yes well done to the club, re Season ticket holders , they should be pleased that the club have been able to bring in another 3000 supporters today who have seen the team win and will hopefully come back again/ buy a shirt a programme etc. Its worth doing for the 3 lesser supported teams of Catalan, Celtic & Harlequins It might be different if we had 5000 season ticket holders but sadly we do not and we have to increase revenue to be able to increase salary cap etc.
