Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

Not arguing, because I probably didn't have a better view than you, but I thought it looked like Swain had pulled Blaymire to the ground by the upper arm and ragged his shoulder?

| bad conditions did not want to see all of those penalties. He made the game flat along with our lack of concentration. Every ref by the rules could spot something wrong every set no consistency.

| Job done on a poor night but yet again our discipline was P poor when will we ever learn some of the pens we gave away at the play the ball were school boy things thank god the game ended without kicking off at 30 24 the way it was going we would have given yet another penalty away and had a very nervous last set to defend

| How many times did he war Alker and then ignore it the Decision on Moore was just laughable, he needs to grow a spine. other than that he did not get that many wrong, did not see much wrong with the tackle on Blaymire.
Well done Dale Morton, you did what was asked of you last night.

| Seen worse - a lot worse.
A bit of a stickler on some things - packing down correctly etc
whilst letting other things go - persistanlty interferring at the play the ball
but every coach and SL player must know what each refs pet hates are
Ganson - off side and forwrd passes
Smith - being told how to ref and have bottles thrown at himself
At least he wasn't deliberately seaching a result like Bentham and the french one.

Childs didn't seem to get much wrong but did seem a bit over-picky at times in the second half.
Both sides gave him plenty of excuse though, espcially Salford.'"
think that's a fair enough assessment. until the final ten minutes we can have no complaints about which way the penalty count was going, then we got silly and started messing at the play the ball

| Their last ten minute momentum came on the back of a number of stupid penalties given away by us. They were mainly stupid little offences like hands on the ball at PTB and the serial offender was Sam Obst.
They are nothing penalties and doing it gives you very little advantage but it can kill you off when found out. Sam must get it out of his game and so must a lot of the other players. We are bottom on the fair play league but we are not a dirty side.
Our stupid lack of discipline perhaps costs us a game or two over the whole season.
After that rant my message is ! Lets get our own house in order first before we start worrying about how the officials perform.

Moore got gang tackled and pushed back to our line (10 yards maybe) he offloaded towards his own posts, never any doubt it only went backwards.
Sometimes when there is a doubt you can accept it but never any doubt.

Moore was getting drove back by the Salford players and he offloaded to Obst, and the ref blew up for a forward pass when it was clearly backwards.

Yup, fair point. Did think it was a strange decision. Didn't realise that was Moore.

I assumed he lost it forward whilst trying for the offload, and then the ball bounced back off the Salford tackler back towards our line.

| The knock-on rule seems to have been changed this season. I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen knock-ons given when the ball has clearly been lost backwards in games this year.

Was stood right in line with that and it was actually forward.
