Players in the majority no F all about there mates transfer talks. And why would kear tell the players who he's after??? So they could talk to there mates in rugby circle and their coach heres it and snatches it. Its all the BOD and people who are involved with development of playing squad that give out this info, and I know a few people on here who get there info from the BOD.

They are to blame, I dont know why ur having ago at adam. He's merely telling us what is happening atm, and truth be told we all want to know to some extent.

Players know that contract talks are happening, it wont unsettle the squad.

If there was anybody in the team whos contract i would want to extend Snitch and Wilkes would be in the top 5! They have been performing at a high level consistantly throughout the season, i can't see how we will find better replacements without paying a high price. It would be a huge risk to let these 2 go!

I'd agree to a point. Snitch is worth making an extra effort over, because of his mobility, stamina and consistency. Wilkes is easier to replace, but I see your point about value. If players want to leave though, let them and their agents find out the grass isn't always greener. For every one that does goes, I'd like to think a few more were tempted and then remembered the fact that they had discovered their best form at Belle Vue, or at least developed a previously undiscovered ability to catch and run will the ball at the same time.

We are not in a position to up everyone's contract; almost all clubs lose players in this way. Younger, hungrier and possibly better players come through, either from the ranks, the national leagues or overseas, and the wheel keeps turning.

I for one am getting sick of all these bloody transfer rumours, so and so is coming, so and so is leaving......sometimes its fun to speculate but its becoming tiring now.

At end of the day, the players that depart, depart and the players who stary put, don't.

There is nothing us fan's can do about it.

But speculate - which another way to describe these rumours. Some will be true, others fake, but the club will go on and we will be OK.

I'm afraid the only way to get around this, if it bothers you too much, is to avoid these forums for the whole of June, July and August - then by September we should know the reality of it - good or bad.

One thing we can't do is change any of it - which is tough to take, but true!
