He has now developed the suicidal offload to a tee and did it at least six times today.

I thought i was a bit harsh against Leeds regarding Akins BUT after today has really proven my point - Gleeson is better than Atkins at the mo and imagine hes on half the money...

and it has also become apparent that rest of teams plans are built around the fact that hes actually mal manninger, because attacks from centre field are roughly 3-1 to his side every bloody game.
it was ok to drop obst to let him regain find form, so ok lets give ryan a run out in the reserves, at least it will prove he does not think he is better than that.

Probably why he is failing to make a mark at international level.
No point having someone in the team who refuses to pass to his wingman... move him to SR and use him as a battering ram then he wouldn't have to worry about offloading......

Gleeson dropped the ball twice with little pressure on him and got walked past on at least two occasions.. |

Am I the only one who thought Atkins played OK today...
Tackled with intent and determination
Made some decent yards
I just remember 2 occasions where he "ballsed up"...
The obvious pass out to Grix and when he started running backwards in a tackle losing us 5 yards...
But apart from that, I was happy...
I'm thinking now Peto's gone, he's our next bagger... Booooo

Because we only get up for the big games not the ones that we have a decent chance of winning - look at the Quins game the other week apart from the last min of brilliance we did not look interested all game

actually your right but theres is a specific issue re Ryan and we should not ignore it, especially baring in mind all the hammer peterson got, rightly or wrongly.
Its not a scapegoat thing, its a solid assesment of where he is and is he worth the status the england set up and we at the club give him?
and my opinion is that the answer is no, hes no better than others in the team and if otherclubs think hes worth big cash then let him go, i dont want us to pay him more than hes worth, just what hes worth. As I do with all the players.
