| Quote: braytontiger "cain has 3 years on his contract at wakey thought to be around 8k per year.he his an awsome talent who will make the grade at super league.
but dont be so naive to think that other clubs dont want him and offers will be made for him in the same way that clubs are looking at signing ryan brierley although he has signed a new contract at cas.
there was a fall out with him at wakefield although this happens at every team with an whole variety of players most of the time it gets resolved.'"
Edited for accuracy! You are right, it is a moving feast, but Cain has now fallen back into line and we are looking at a new deal, not the £8k one!

| Cain has got all the tools, except size. if he played with men right now he would get eaten alive. however, he also has a knack of being in the right place at the right time, also a very good organiser.
i can see a lot of the academy lads making the grade however, hard to just choose one.

| If we'd have won yesterday, i would have suggested playing a couple in the Celtic game, probably Southernwood & Annekin.
Agree with the earlier poster with regards to Trout, who i think could be the pick in a couple of years.

| There,s quiet a lot of talk on certain players pushing through the ranks, all well and good, I feel sorry for the players that keep getting there noses pushed out to make way for others to shine I THINK ITS A CASE OF WHOS FACE FITS SYNDROME this should not be allowed to happen in this day and age, just think of all the british talent thats slipped through the net because of this.

| Word on the street is that cas and wakey have agreed a swap deal involving Cain Southernwood and Ryan Brierley, both quality players, brierley edges it for me but if somehow they both were playin in the same team... it would be unstoppable.

| Southernwood obviously, but anyone from Trout, Grayston, Cowling could make the grade, only time will tell. My tip would be Trout or Grayston purely on size and current ability.
