I was joking, pretending to be a grumpy old man. Thats all you hear when a prop passes and it goes wayward.
I thought Scully was our 2nd best prop

I'm not convinced about that. Mainly because it is very difficult to compare props who do different jobs. Bibey tends to get slated because he does the unappealing job of running straight and hard at the opposition, tiring them out.
I always thought Scully was signed to try and fill the creative void in the pack left by the departure of Solomona. It was a big void (in more ways than one) and I'm not sure the Scully - good as he was - ever filled it.

Only seen so much of him since he left cas but for us he had a brilliant offload, can seem to remember watching your lot on the telly and his offload creating a few tries (one of them was against quins i think).

Fair point.
No one could have replaced Solomona though to be fair, he was something else.

| Quote: Thefeeling "A quote from todays Huddersfield Examiner..........
Sculthorpe admits his move to the Giants brings to an end a two-year nightmare spell at Wakefield.
And he believes his new club have given him the ideal opportunity to prove himself once again.
"It's pleasing to get away from a club who just didn't seem to want me".
"I was prevented from playing my natural game (he's a noted ball-handling forward). That meant I wasn't enjoying my rugby, and it showed"
"But Nathan wants to give me the chance to get back to what I do best, and I'm delighted about that".
"I see this move as the chance to prove what I can do and get my career back on track".
EDIT
Sounds like he just re-used the stuff he said when he left Wigan!

and why shouldn't he, just remember he wanted big brother to come and play with him earlier so whats different now? danny had a smacked ass from the boss and sent in his daddy doug quite an apt name as he doug him a hole . i normally like to extend a good luck wish to departing players unfortunately scully as done himself no favours with the wakefield crowd.
if he has wanted to leave for so long then he should of gone he has been cheating his team mates , fans and employers by sticking at belle vue.
never as a player been to big for the club and scully doesn't even come close

While I would never attempt to argue that Scully was anywhere near as good as Solo for us or in general. However Solo's off loads weren't always the best and put us under pressure on numerous occassions. Both had/have the ability to turn a game either for or against their team.
