Worth a shout in the halves over Rooney, looks like he wants to take the line on, good support player (like Rooney)...but the critical difference is that Grix still has a bit of pace. Worth a punt.

hes more than a bit of pace, the day broughy took out jenson last year grix flew over to cover him I couldn't believe the speed he does have, my eyes was fixed on grix,as broughy was coming towards us

Grix was excellent on Sunday(along with Drew) and seems to have gained alot of confidence from his superb preformences for Ireland in the world cup.

He could well be the next player targeted to change his 'nationallity' back to English if he keeps this form up.

I dont think Rooney is slow I just think he hasnt any ideas hes a dithering wreck in attack these days and his main outlet is that appauling inside ball.

For me hes our best player.

Could be, but he isn't yet. I can't say he is and then say Westerman isn't - in both cases a way to go.

rooney is not slow when he gets in to his running its his speed off the mark where grix has the advantage add to this that he gos forward at the line more compared to rooney going sideways and we look to have a better option and for me drew is our best player class act.

It's also his speed of though, as you say his legs have nothing to do with it.
