| I think a ground share would be an excellent idea.
A stadium utilised every weekend.
Cas should get on board ASAP, its only a stadium and not a club share.

Think you'll find Tricky Dicky did reject - Rodney Walker invited Cas to join in play there right at the start when the Community Stadium was first announced.

| Just a question...not trying to start anthing....
Would Trinity be happy to come play at GH if it all palyed out that NM didnt get the green light and GH got funding??
I hope NM does get the green light by the way, im also willing Cas to get a new stadium but i dont think that will happen while ever RW is leading the club.
Also a merged team would probably take off within 10 years if it happened, i personally wouldnt support them, i would probably watch the odd match

If it was for one season whilst NM was being built, a la Saints, then yes, I can see no problem with it.

No to be honest!
I would support us at NM if we shared with Cas, as I consider NM not to be ours, but a community stadium, a community that cas is part of and a stadium that is politically and geographically equidistant from both club.
I don't think it would be a brilliant idea to groundshare, solely from the Merger pov, but I can see how it would make business/financial sense for both clubs.
As for a Merger, I could see it working (in the long term) under certain circumstances.
As with the mergers including Sheffield and Gateshead they ended up keeping their own identities, if a cas and a wakey side still were competing say in the championship and were feeding a team that could be a success in SL I'd support wakey one week and the merged club the other no worries, is still be a wakey fan bud I'd support the merged SL club.
And I think that could work at NM because of its neutrality!

| I was always told don't believe everything you read in the papers. In this case i'd advise you to not believe either of them!

| I'm not sure they are contradictory, as the first article says that they are about to put pen to paper on the Tesco deal. The second article just uses the word 'defiant'. I suppose the question will be what Tesco do if the other deal is approved. If they would do it anyway, why not do it? Or are they waiting and seeing?
