I don't watch the NRL so can't have an opinion on the differing refereeing standards, but if the lad's nose had been previously clean for that long at that league then it's good enough for me. Presumably if he was a bit of a loose cannon he would have been up before the beak and copped a ban at some point.

His record is good enough to give him the benefit of the doubt in this case then for me.

It looked like Fevs no8 head collided with Poores right cheek. Both holding towels to their face / head as they went off for stitches.
