As an aside the planning inspectorate dates appear to have changed. I’m out on a limb here but I think it's looking like a PI early next year.

Interesting news! I wonder if the reality of the situation has sunk in some what at the planning inspectorate and they have finally realised the potential issues of this PI and the LDF running along side by side could create for them and how much time, money and effort it could potentially waste!
These dates looks like it would put the public hearings into early 2012, after the site specific LDF comments (well, legally binding comments!) will have come back from the planning Inspectorate!!! This would make sense to me and I wonder if it is suddenly making sense to the planning inspectorate too! |

This was kindly pointed out by my Cas supporting work colleagues.

I was not expecting the PI to be complete till the end of this year at the very earliest anyway. Early in 2012 the LDF 'recommendations' will be known and scheduled to be ratified by Wakefield MDC by March 2012. The LDF has a more certain time line meaning... this is looking like it could all be over by this time next year! |
