Yes, spot on, i remember back in '58 when my dad took me to my first match when i was 9 years old. Was lifted over the turnstyle while my Dad just bought is ticket for himself. This went on for a couple of years or so, then i started going with a few mates and started paying. I was hooked and went on to play for Trinity u 17s and u19s during the mid to late 60s.

I'm the same. I'm at Belle Vue because my dad brought me. No other reason. I stayed because its still a family occasion and I feel like Wakefield Trinity is part of my family and family history too.

It isn't for everyone purchased, it's an option. Neither my brother nor I have selected that option for example and I'm sure many other older fans give it a miss too.

Surprised me that 4319 @ times it certainly didn’t feel or look like that. But in superleague you will get a lot of away fans bumping that average attendance up. There is quite a difference in average attendances in superleague and the championship (championship data 2022 with a reported 6-8% rise in 2023. Look at Leighs jump 22-23.
