So would that mean Tim Smith isn't coming?
It appears Isaac John is just about signed, sealed and delivered. That half of the hb pairing I'm happy with given the reports I've read and the recommendations he's come under, but KW I'd be concerned about if he was to be a starting hb.
John IMO will need a more experienced partner, KW doesn't fit the bill for me, back up for either starting 6/7 fair does, but nowhere near 17 material IMO.
I'd be disappointed if we went for KW over TS.

I’m assuming he’s a straight swap for Tommy Lee who I would imaging would have been cover for the halfs and Hookers position.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.: |
|
| I think John will take the stand off role with Kaye as backup.
Gareth Moore will probably take the SH slot with Wildie on his heels.
SO - John. Kaye
SH - Moore. Wildie
Would be reasonably happy with this. Wildie gained some valuable SL exp in 2011. Moore and Wildie need game time this year and need to show the club they are worthy ling term investments. Big year for them both.

| Dude add more (sound) reasoning to your posts. Maybe you'd explain yourself better and avoid misunderstandings in future.

Sadly?
Interchange hooker and him and Ellis could be devastating.
Start will Ellis, setting the grafting plays for the first 20. Then bring on Sammy to pick out the weaker/ more tired defenders in the middle and exploit the gaps. That's when Sam was at his most effective IMO.
Much like Leeds use Burrow.

I agree, he's a hooker, always has been. Sadly i've got a feeling he'll be at scrum half though where he's nowhere near as effective.

| Would Kyle Wood be an improvement on the young halves/hookers we have at the club such as Moore, Wildie, Davey etc??? I havent seen much of him to be fair. The last time i did was the friendly last year when he was decent but other than that i dont know???
Why do we have to exchange?? If they want Tommy Lee, let him go and use his salary elsewhere. Why the need to take someone off them?? If its within our budget we should use his salary to contribute towards Tim Smith or an other who would definately improve the squad.

| How's Tim Smith suddenly gone up in peoples estimations,he was utter gash at Wigan, that's why they stuck him in the reserves and let him go!

| Kyle came to us on loan in the 2010 season and made a big difference and in the games he played for hudds this term he was solid and only lost his place in the team due to injury against HKR. I would love to see him at cas as back up to rangi and danny orr, your half backs are poor standard and i think if kyle takes his chance then he will be starting 7 for you. Hate to admit but the wakey side is looking a much more solid team than ours for next season!
