TBH I'd totally forgotten about it. I'm really wrecking my brain to remember what that end looked like before the hospitality boxes were built.
If someone could post a picture that would be ace!
The roofs can go up in no time, it's digging the terrace out that will take more than a month IMO, easily doable during the off-season though.'"
only one I have

I think the whole ground back then looked good! What went wrong?
Just to ask nicely again, has anyone got a link to the proposals in a decent enough resolution to read the writing? I'd quite like to see it in detail.

The South Stand was knocked down to make way for what is now the Cats Bar and a new South Stand that was going to join on to the Cats Bar. The old stand got knocked down but then something happened with the finances and nothing was put there until the Flats arrived with Pearman

The picture was taken on the 2nd October 1967 two days before they were officially unveiled for the Yorkshire V Australian clash, which still probably is one of the finest games ever at BV when Carl Dooler and Neil Fox ripped the Aussies to bit's.

In any case, as it's mostly inhabited by the rougher elements within the travelling Rugby League community, the medical advice is, it's best all round not to have them coughing/wheezing/belching etc within a confined space....
Oh so you are familiar with planning law and why there might not be anything happening down at NM as planning can be a problem.
For a minute I thought you were just trolling?

| Quote: TRB "The banks would have been far more lenient on us if we had a new ground being built. They would have seen that the business was moving forward and that SL status was assured. That's not really a difficult concept.
As for the ST - he would have had to listen if we had been able to secure the level of shares we had hoped for!
As far as anyone could tell he took no advice from another shareholders, he took little or no advice from his staff, so I can't see that he would have taken it from a few hundred supporters.
As for the banks, it wasn't really the banks that were our problem.
It was the fact that we weren't bringing in enough money to cover our bills.
We hadn't paid any tax from our first winding up order, most of what money that came into BV was being trousered.
Its all been a bit of a smoke screen if you like, I still can't see that FPP would have done anything but delay administration, based on the level of incoming money against our debt, by a few more months.

| When the improvements have been made they might have a look at the PA system
I thought lado was announcing in African (welcoming all who come from that region) and by the end of the game he could have been playing a vuvuzela.

| To be fair the pa is both good and bad depending where you stand. It's terrible on the 30 metre line in front of main stand cannot hear a thing having said that 20 metres further along and you can hear everything I have emailed the club but I have not had a reply.

Bit of this anyone?
I'm sure this could be built as a standing area rather than being seated.
Imagine the noise we could make if all packed into here as our new kop.
IA said it would be pretty basic, well that designs hardly mind-blowing. I'd be interested though!

I would be interested to here how even if NM was given the go ahead, how we would have still survived, as the tax man was getting ever more dischuffed with us and the £350k from yorkourt would have been small taties compared to our escalating debts.
I think we would still be in the Shizen even if Pickles had done his man from delmonte act.'"
Got to laugh, you and Ted would get on well if that were the case - that would be two of you who don't listen.
So go on then, who were these employees then?
