| Saturdays would see the club loose 4 fans here as it would clash with the classic motorcycle racing held on that day at Aintree and some times at other circuits reason I wont be going to Salford game Classic racing at Donnington that day

I work every Saturday so I get every Sunday off so I can get to the majority of Sunday
games at BV. So I would struggle to get to many games if played on a Saturday.
Apologies in advance if you think I'm moaning.

Wendy ball has successfully diversified to Sundays, as has horse racing. Most large shops are open 7 days a week, pubs have changed their opening hours.

Completely different!
Most of the local football league sides will play on a Saturday, so Barnsley, Donny, Leeds, Hudds, Wednesday, Sheff Utd etc. We're instantly competing with them for the sporting public if we go down that route.
I think Friday nights would be better.

| Must admit I'm probably the exception amongst the posters on here but I generally fit my life to suit the Wakey games. THis isn't always popular at home so I would prefer having Sundays free rather than Saturdays. Saturday is my "other sports" day but would just become my Trinity day with Sundays available for family stuff. Same with a change to any other day, Friday nights included.

| I'm sure the same excuses / reasons for not being able to attend will have been used when the club changed from Saturdays to Sundays....
I'm not bothered either way, but It would be good if the club could stick to one day and not mess about between Thurs / Fri / Sat / Sun / Mon. At least then I would have a chance of getting to Most games instead of having to try and rearrange a multitude of things to be able to attend. I know that Sky probably dictate when and at what time we play, but it has become a farce.

| The club don't mess about with the days we play, it's generally all down to SKY.

| How come we're all up in arms regarding playing Saturday's if we move to Dewsbury, who's said we'll be playing on Saturdays? The reason some of our play off games are on Saturday is due to the middle 8's.

Quote: JINJER "Chairman, Michael Carter has spoken about the choice of Saturday games, explaining, “We have chosen Saturday fixtures for two reasons. The first is that we want to have a minimum of a six day turnaround if not seven days between our fixtures. This will be extremely beneficial to get the best out of our team over the seven rounds. Secondly, is to get an appetite of how popular Saturday fixtures will be for future purposes.”'"
The latter part of that quote is an indication that Saturday kick offs are something Carter is thinking about next season regardless of where Trinity will be playing.
Makes no ends to me as I can generally plan my weekend around Trinity, I imagine a fair few people don’t or can’t. When you core support is poor anyway I don’t think it’s the best idea is to change the regular game day. Humans are creatures of habit and don’t take to change easily. It’s just creating a potential problem for the club down the line which really isn’t necessary.

People will read into that what they want, my opinion fwiw is that the chairman is using these three games to test the water with Saturday fixtures to measure if it would be a popular move switching from Sunday to Saturday, maybe it's an experiment he's prepared to undertake in an effort to increase attendances.

| The good people of Wakefield have demonstrated in their thousands that they have no appetite for Rugby League on Sundays. Why not try a different date - or maybe its the stewarding they don't like.

| Why don the club actually ask the fans prior to making these decisions.
On the basis that most people have a life outside of Trinity and we have always played on Sundays (at least for the last 30 odd years).
People will obviously struggle to re arrange their lives at short notice and for those who have bought S/T's on the basis of Sunday games (apart from Sky changes), this is just another slap in the face.
For God's sake, look after your customers, there aren't too many of us left.
We lose one of our group, who works on Saturdays, plus a couple of others who play cricket (yes, I know) on Saturdays.
If there had to be an experiment, pick one of the fixtures to try it, not all of them.
