Divdav has every right to feel good about posting something that came true. And to be honest, about anything else he wants to feel good about.

Why the need to put it down?

So who said he didn't? Whose putting him down, I'm not. It was a good bit of speculation, but that's all.

Yet as ever you spectacularly miss who actually did the ridiculing, take a look, it was your latest new best buddy, nobody mentioned clowns or anything else before that point and nobody ridiculed anybody.

A one-year contract is a good idea.

If he comes over here to mess about and have a holiday, we're soon shut of him. If he is good, we'll either get him for longer or get a good year out of him, both of which are good options.

He'll know that if he messes about, his career is done, so I'm optimistic.

Fingers crossed. Well known i have my reservations but there is no denying his experience and past playing record. The deal seems a sensible one and if he's fit and focussed and coming here for the right reasons then it may well pay off, if not then getting rid at the end of the year isn't a problem. Proctor & gamble i suppose.

I can’t see anything but positives in this signing. Only time will tell I suppose but I genuinely have a good feeling about this one.

Now it's been announced feels like a real positive signing. Agree with the 1 year deal comments and doesn't commit us to much if it goes wrong.

Hope he enjoys his time here and we get the best out of him. Feel like he can elevate the group and its a statement to others who might be in talks with the club.

It could be an excellent signing. There’s a degree of risk but if he comes fit and motivated he could impress in superleague.
