Have to say ,I didn't know that you cant buy junior tickets on line. Certainly something that needs looking at.
The £25 is a tough high but with all that's been going on, it's just great to have some quality live sport to watch.'"
Fingers crossed there will be no more disruptions from COVID come next season. A good structured marketing approach complimented by some non-rugby attractions will hopefully bring in an extra couple of hundred through the gate.
Not seen it in a while but what happened to the u19’s playing before the first team, would often go down to watch some of the younger lads play and I’m sure it was only an extra quid,

| 6 again is a cracking rule, can’t understand why fans don’t like it.
Speeds the game up.
Stops penalties stopping and taking the momentum out of the game.
The strip rule needs looking at as it’s a mess I agree and I’d like to see scrums back.
I like the idea too of the 7 tackle set for hoofing the ball into touch to slow the game down. Think they will be a very good addition if we do it here.
Rewarding negative play should not be encouraged.
If we didn’t as a sport tinker with the rules we would still be watching rugby union.
I sometimes we get it wrong, sometimes we get it right. Generally when we get it wrong we change it back pretty quickly.

Really? It's because it's not black and white and teams are totally at the mercy of arbitrary decisions from the likes of Kendal and Child.

It's a poor rule I would really like to see the stats behind it I e. Which tackle each team concedes a six again and where. I watched us get caned at HKR on Thursday in our 30m area. The first one we got was after the first tackle on our 20 what's the advantage with that over a penalty.
Perhaps it should still be a penalty when interference takes place in your own half

Should be a pen on the 1st tackle anywhere on the field.
Defending team aren't penalised for slowing the game down by giving "6 again" away. Just allows them to reset.

| Stripping the ball needs sacking off ASAP as very hard to police ,6 again not fussed as we get our fair share but I’m really not bothered if scrums in their last format we’re resigned to the history books as they have become a laughing stock .Get it back to a contested scrum ,one where the ball get fed in straight and not into the second row .We seemed to have coped well without the scrums as in fitness ,and has certainly speeded the game up .IMO COVID has played a huge role in hammering the game both on the fans and players front ,games called off ,sky putting games on when and where they want ,fear of contracting COVID all have and will have for quite some time have a huge effect on our game and attendances. But after watching a footy game ( under duress may I add) I still say we have by far the best sporting product on the field ,we just need to get the people who run our great game to step up to the plate and sell it to the public any way they can ,because get a newbie to a game like our last one and they’ll be hooked .Lions led by donkeys springs to mind ,and if the powers that be can’t get the game back on its feet ,they need to step aside and let someone else have a go . It’s very hard to sell a crap product ,but we have one of the very best ,so why are we struggling in the game as a whole to attract investors and fans ,IMO they should be knocking the door down to get a piece of the action.

Is £25 high? Not really, not compared to other sports and events. Are we really quibbling over a rise that’s less than the cost of a pint?
You get what you pay for end of. So long as it’s speant well no complaints.
I agree though, we need a new season now. No rule tweaks, full and honoured fixtures, we need a real season with something to play for.
Then hopefully they will return.
Also some stadium news would be ace.
As an aside if we finish well this season and maybe do pull off a big signing then November will be the time to do another leaflet drop for those interested. Push for season ticket sales on the back of it.
I’d also like the club to look at selling hugely discounted season tickets for the under 12’s, really low say £20 but attached only to an adult ticket, lads and dads, that kind of thing.

I think that contested scrums are a bit of a myth.
Yes, they were better that those of recent times but, in 40 years of watching the game, I have never seen the ball fed straight. Although, I do remember sides being penalised for feeding back in the 80's.
Also, whilst it's great that the action is "non stop", sometimes its good to have a break in play.
The game is becoming slightly one dimensional and a return to having penalties awarded wouldn't be such a bad thing and at least the fans may have more of a clue as to what the infringement was - some are obvious , while other 6 again calls are baffling.

| Personally for me, the cost of the tickets is contentious, however, if you price higher and sell less, isn’t that just as good as selling low and getting more in? More profit on less tickets ?
The corporate always seems to sell well and I have done this on a regular basis. I do agree that there should be more pay on the gate for juniors ( more pop crisps and shirt sales) therefore more profit. if we had a decent shop open on match days. Kids are the future and the RFL have forgot about this over recent years IMO in all aspects of the game. We need a re think of the game on a whole. Just don’t know how to do it. Get rid of summer rugby is just one at the top of my head. Not many things to do in winter, bring back Sunday games. All in all we are a working class sport and sundays are the days that working people get off from work. Maybe just maybe people will come back…………..

| You can get 7 pints in a half decent boozer for £25 these days and close enough to 12 in one of the cheaper establishments that don't take care of the beer....!
Supposed to be a half-joke post but in reality that is what we are also competing against.

| Personally for me it’s the scheduling of matches, as I play sport myself on a Saturday and have training sessions on Thursday I gave up my season ticket a few years ago as I wasn’t making it to many games. I’d have one back in a heartbeat if the majority of games were Sunday afternoons.
I think super league fixture scheduling is a bit of a shambles in itself which inhibits attendances.

| We must do everything possible to increase our attendance figures next season and if that means a reduction in season ticket costs or ticket prices then I believe it will generate more than it would lose. The more crowds the better the in ground and merchandise sales. The other and probably the most important factor coming up to a review is the perceived benefits in increased attendance figures to the SL.
I don’t know how our ticket pricing compares to others but it pains me to say that the ground does discourage some from going and until it improves this must be reflected in what we charge.

If we don't charge the same rates as other SL clubs because of our current facilities then I`m afraid to say we wont be a super league club much longer, we already struggle financially against other SL teams due to financial backing.
The same people begrudging paying an extra 3 or 4 pound for a ticket will be the same ones complaining that we don`t have the money for quality players, I have no doubt about that and it`s a vicious circle.

This is the key we used to play Sunday afternnon at 3.30 all home games away were usually 3pm Sunday now games are playing second fiddle to TV and not the local communities.

I agree, and unfortunately 99% of the time its completely out of the hands of the club, I'd say that's something the wider game needs to pick up on, consistency of the fixture schedules that's both in making them consistent in the first place and secondly keeping reschedules to a minimum. I realise, more than ever with Covid this has been difficult but some of it is just bizarre, playing games on Sky on a Monday night and a Wednesday night, then no game on the weekend and then they wonder why viewing figures have fallen?
I think if it was down the club, we would play all home games at 3pm on a Sunday.
