That opening try was a typical Trinity gift starting right under the Hull sticks, poor pass from Wood to the feet of Hampshire then a Kay knock on from a bread and butter last tackle bomb.

Shoulder to head, after the ball had gone. Their winger gets to sit out 10 minutes and Jowitt out for 4 weeks.

I think game has gone soft in many areas but hits to the head should be clamped down on. Lads have parents, their own families and a future after rugby. Look at Stevie Ward! I agree it was a red card wrencat.

Ultimately Trinity lose out because of spineless officials.

Surely the shoulder is often worse than a swinging arm because of the body weight behind it?
