He’s far more reliable than PP and although not as destructive as Dave you still notice an up when he comes on.

Arona is one of the first names on the team sheet for me.
Sign him up!

Wouldn't call him underrated, think he's well respected by club and fans, all boils down to money and at 30 he will be looking for the final deal so to speak. He will value himself at X and the club will value him at Y, if there close we should have a deal.

| It will be a tough call for all concerned in making these calls, and we may not be in a position to keep everyone, as those we do keep may end up on improved contracts.
Personalliy, I think this could well be Kirmo's last year, and not convinced of keeping Annakin, but sure he wont be on a massive deal.
The tough ones for me, lay within our overseas players that are off contract, in Horo, Arona, Randell and Pauli.
Over the past few weeks Horo, has proved his worth with his versatility, Arona is a warrior and just keeps going, Randell hasn't quite lived up to the hype of his first few games, but we know what he can do, and Pauli, on his day can be as good as anyone, but at times just doesn't look there. With that, If I was letting an overseas player go, it would be Pauli, and would probably bring in more of a workhorse type prop
Cna't really say much, regarding Baldwinson, as we haven't seen a great deal of.
Hampshire and Crowther for me are definate ones to keep though

Disagree with this, said for a few years we needed a second row who could consistently score tries and Pauli is that. If used correctly, he should really be scoring one every two games. When we get some bodies back I think we'll see the best of him. Has set a few tries up with his offloads and can cover prop also.
Just wish we could get a bit more out of him defensively but definitely should be trying to keep for me. As ever though, the money has to be right. Trust MC and CC to make the right calls.

Of them all PP is the one I'd keep. He's a limited footballer but he offers a size and power that is rare in SL, added to this he's still fairly young and not a huge number of games under his belt. If we can improve him over this season then we have an absolute gem on our hands. He's also brave which rarely gets mentioned probably due to the fact that he's still a bit clumsy and often gets wrong footed. Its our job to train that out of him.

| When deciding who to give new / extended contracts to, you also have to factor in who is available to be replace them and at what cost, so saying I would give XXX a new contract is just not that straightforward. They (The management) may decide to offload someone who we (the fans) feel deserves a contract only to see said player replaced by someone of better quality a bit later on. It's all about the natural progression of the squad, and I'm glad it's not me that has to make the decisions!

| Everybody sees things differently BG, but at the and of the day, all want our team to reach the best they can be.
It is a tough call for those who are making the decisions at the end of the day, and I trust in those concerned to do right.
I do feel though, too, with the reduced interchanges, that teams will go for the players who have the bigger engines, and can do longer minutes. Not sure as to whether he can, over a sustained amount of games
He is young, still, granted, but think, that players like Pauli, who some list as "projects and works in progress", as a club on a limited budget, there will become a time when, some may say enough is enough, on say fitness or defence.
This is in no way bagging the player, just trying to put a constructive debate across
